The photos above are from a demo I did last week at Pilchuck. I was flattered to be invited by Raven Skyriver to be a visiting artist during his hot sculpting glass, session 5. I was welcomed by an energetic group of students that were eager to watch me complete a large honey bee with his amazing TA's and some very dear friends there to back me up. It was truly an awarding experience and I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to challenge myself in such a supportive and inspiring environment like Pilchuck!
It has been awhile since I have posted in here! A lot has happened this year! I recently moved my studio into Inscape Arts, a really wonderful building in Seattle's International District. I share the space with my partner, Mikey Cozza (www.michaelcozzaglass.com) and our friend Brennan Kasperzak. I am really excited about new work I am creating that I have yet to publish live to my site as it is all in progress. I am hopeful the work will start to come together these next few months and I will be ready to share! The work came to fruition while I was a teaching assistant at Pilchuck Glass School for Shelley and Rik Allen's sculpting class earlier this summer.

This says so much about the respect you have amongst your peers and the skills you have developed as an emerging female glass artist. I know it's a difficult field to break into, but your stamina and passion is paying off. Congratulations!
